home of the Amazing Grace Experience. John Newton, author of the famous hymn Amazing Grace, spent several weeks in Sandy Point. Visit the Amazing Grace Experience constructed on land where no doubt Mr. Newton travelled on his way from Pump Bay to deliver slaves to be sold in the town of Basseterre. Be enthralled at the museum set up on this site to commemorate his life and music and be blessed.Then, travel on this unique trek on the St. Kitts Scenic Railway from LA Vallée along the northern and western parishes of the island. Learn about the island’s flora, fauna and folklore from an experienced on board tour guide. Unlimited drinks will be served on board. Finally, your transportation will take you from the Train Depot in Conaree to the cruise terminal at Port Zante.

TOUR ONE

- After visiting the town of Basseterre rich in historic significance take in the magnificent splendour of Brimstone Hill National Fortress constructed by slaves shipped by Captain Newton, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Then off we go to the highlight of this tour, The Amazing Grace Experience, where you can tour the museum set up to commemorate the life and music of Mr. Newton. Listen to the awe inspiring story behind the lyrics of Amazing Grace and be blessed!
